Sherin Hegazy
Beginning in 1999, Sherin first danced as part of the Reda Troupe with its focus on oriental ballet at the Balloon In 2016, she directed and choreographed Ya Sem, a dance piece which addressed sexual harassment in Egypt by mixing contemporary and balady dancing techniques. Her current project is Awalem Khafeya, a Cairo-based contemporary balady dance troupe which draws its inspiration from the Egyptian divas of the 1940s-1960s.0
